I am a fresh graduate fellow, embarking on the journey of deciphering the neutralization landscape of dengue virus.  Dengue is the most rapidly expanding Flavivirus infection that threatens more than half of global population. Seropositive tropical countries like India, are worst affected by this menace, presumably due to antibody dependent enhancement.

My work aims to develop a quantitative framework to represent dengue virus and human antibody interactions as function of epitope-paratope specificity and antibody stochiometric threshold of neutralization or enhancement of the virus infection.

This research has the potential to predict the susceptibility of dengue infection in a person, efficiency of dengue vaccine and engineering anti-dengue therapeutic antibodies.

My Life at IISc

I am an extrovert man, love to meet new people and build strong friendship along the way. This has allowed me to collaborate in scientific as well as social arena. I am active in student elections, cultural and sports activities. Recently I participated in Inter IISER Sports Meet 2023 at IISER TVM and represented IISc at Kho-Kho, successfully grabbing the championship.  Previously, I had been in the core team that organised Rhapsody 2023, the cultural fest of IISc.

As the sandbox core member of EntIISc, together we actively organise awareness drives and provide platform to budding Entrepreneur and Innovators of our generation.

In my leisure time, I enjoy classical music, drama and poetry at the JN Tata Auditorium et al., travel places and capture time immortal memories in my camera.
